    Day 1Arrival at Bagdogra and Transfer to Phuentsholing

    • Begin your journey by flying into Bagdogra Airport.
    • Embark on a scenic 4-hour drive to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan.
    • Check into your hotel and take the evening to relax and explore the local market.

    Day 2Phuentsholing to Thimphu

    • After breakfast, you will complete the immigration formalities at Phuentsholing and proceed towards Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.
    • The drive to Thimphu offers stunning views as you ascend through forests and quaint villages.
    • Upon arrival, check into your hotel and then explore the local markets or relax in your hotel to acclimatize to the altitude.

    Day 3Thimphu Sightseeing

    • Start your day with a visit to the National Library, which houses an extensive collection of Buddhist texts and manuscripts.
    • Visit the Motithang Takin Preserve to see Bhutan’s national animal, the Takin.
    • Marvel at the gigantic Buddha Dordenma statue and enjoy panoramic views of the Thimphu Valley.
    • Explore the National Memorial Chorten, a prominent religious structure in Thimphu.

    Day 4Thimphu to Punakha

    • Depart early to visit the Dochula Pass, which offers stunning views of the Himalayan range and 108 chortens (stupas).
    • Continue to Punakha and visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers.
    •  For adventure enthusiasts, head to the rafting point on the Mo Chhu River for an exhilarating rafting experience.

    Day 5 Punakha to Paro

    • After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Paro.

    • Explore Paro Dzong, a stunning fortress and monastery that offers insights into Bhutanese culture and religion.

    Day 6Paro Local Sightseeing

    • Embark on an early morning trek to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched on a cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley. This trek is a highlight of any trip to Bhutan.
    • Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Bhutan, reflecting the country’s rich spiritual heritage.
    • Return to your hotel in Paro and relax for the evening.

    Day 7 Paro to Jaldapara

    • After breakfast, start your journey back to India with a drive to Jaldapara National Park in West Bengal, renowned for its rich wildlife including the Indian one-horned rhinoceros.
    • Upon arrival, you may opt for an evening safari in the park to get a glimpse of the diverse fauna.

    Day 8Jaldapara to Bagdogra

    • If time permits, take an early morning safari in Jaldapara National Park(if time permits).
    • Conclude your trip with a drive back to Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
